寄养家庭:急救与心肺复苏标准
First Aid & CPR Delaware
Becoming a foster parent in Delaware means providing a safe home to a child in the care of the Division of Family Services. Among the safety requirements: caregivers must hold current first-aid and CPR certification appropriate to the ages of the children placed.
急救要求
In Delaware, foster-care licensing requires first-aid and CPR certification that includes a hands-on skills demonstration appropriate to the ages of the children in placement, delivered by a recognized organization. Certification must be current for the home to remain licensed.
The requirement is administered by the Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families (DSCYF), Division of Family Services. The certificate is one requirement in addition to the home study, background checks and the assessment of parenting suitability.
严重过敏与过敏性休克
A recognized first-aid certificate covers recognizing and responding to severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), including the use of an epinephrine auto-injector.
